"I hope there are no IT people here," he paused, "but yes, I do think the site is a little hard to navigate." He spread his palms in apology. He was wearing a white dress shirt with thin tan stripes, an amber tie and two lanyards around the neck, one navy and one red, holding different ID badges for university and department. His grey golden eyebrows arched at each point he made, the apologetic tic of his profession. A pager in a black leather case sat clipped to his dark leather belt. Deep pleats lined his khakis. He was using a laser pointer.
"Access Control," he gestured to the screen with his thin red beam, "you know, for just two words there it actually means a whole lot."
